GSI recognizes the importance of career development in improving personal and organizational effectiveness and efficiency. We have established a mentoring Program for the internees and our upcoming consultants to provide them with opportunities to grow and expand their capabilities. GSI also encourages the consultants to enhance their current professional skills and knowledge and improve career opportunities through pursuing higher education at masters and PhD level. We also encourage our key staff and associate consultants to participate in training and mentoring programs organized by Governance Systems International. We have used the experience and lessons learnt by our key personnel in Uganda and elsewhere to develop and design training programs that offer practical trainings relevant to our areas of expertise. Our training Programs bring key experts, practitioners and influential thinkers to discuss and debate the key innovative strategies and solutions in our key areas of expertise.
