Dr. Mulambaholds a Bachelor’s of Science (BSc.) and Masters of Science (MSc.) in Agricultural Engineering (Soil and Water Engineering) from Makerere University, and a PhD in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has enormous working experience in the Water and Sanitation sub-sector following various professional trainings in Water Quality and Sanitation and Water Resources Management, Development and Services, and Wastewater Management from Italy. Additionally, Peter has Certificates in Pedagogical training for Higher Education from Makerere University; and Decentralization course: Uganda Management Institute (Uganda). He has experience of over 15 yearsworking in the Water sector in Uganda. He possesses the following expertise: Water resources engineering; Water resource planning, development and management; Rural and urban solid waste management; Irrigation and drainage planning; GPS, GIS and Remote sensing application; Environmental Impact Assessments & Audits for most Engineering developments projects. Structures & Environmental Engineering; Applied Hydraulics, Hydrology & Sedimentology for micro-catchments; Agricultural and Urban Solid waste handling and disposal; Ecological Engineering; Soil mechanics and conservation engineering; Climatology and Hydrological modeling; Agricultural processing Engineering; Biological (Biosystems) Engineering: Modeling and Design of Biological/Biosystems; and Probabilistic methods in Engineering Design. He is a Member of the following professional Associations: The American Society of Agricultural & Biological Engineers (ASABE); The Soil Science Society of East Africa (SSSEA); The Uganda National Association of Agricultural Extension Education (UNAAEE); and The American Society for Engineering Educationists (ASEE).
